You still have motorized stabilizers, you just carry the motor in your hand and recharge the battery every other stop.
(My stabilizers were never motorized, but I have used the cordless impact wrench for years.)
Don't get an impact driver; get a cordless drill with an adjustable clutch. Those impact drivers have so much torque that you could run the risk of over-jacking the stabilizer.
