Stabilizers

With a tag along I was will to put up with a lot wiggling a jiggling when sobody else was moving around in the trailer. Now that I have a heavy 5ver i admit the wiggling is lees than with a tt but I'm think that it could still be better. I see all of these stabilizing product out there a was woundering if any of them work as good as promised. I'm looking at a set of laterial braces that hook onto the landing gear for about $400. Any thoughts on weather or not their worth the money.
  • Steady fast on mine. Easy to setup. My wife says they were the best mod so far. She didn't like the shaking. Pretty simple to install. I had mine on a previous 5er and took them off I liked them so well and put them on the new one.
  • We have had this stabilizer system for over a year. The installation was pretty straight forward. We did have to take our 2012 Keystone Cougar over to a welder and had him spot-weld a plate for the rear, due to the sliding bike rack. He was very cheap and had it done in about 20 minutes. I would also like to note that the developer of the Steady Fast system was available ON HIS OWN CELLPHONE, when we had a question. This is probably one of the best investments we have ever made for our rig. I love not having to yell at my 12 year old for running in the rig! When we are set up and the stabilizer is engaged, even an all American boy can't make it wiggle!
  • Steadyfast are great! One thing is that as mentioned earlier they only have three knobs which are LARGE and easier to get to. My buddy BIll Gehr who reviews for Tralier Life and has the "Ask the expert" article in RV Journal has tried them all and actually bought these! He says they are the best!
  • We installed the Steady Fast stablizer system on our heavy Cameo fifth wheel RV last month. Great product and very easy to use. Plus, its only 3 knobs to turn. Phillip

I'd have to agree with that one.
  • We bought a set of JT Strongarms, but our new 5er came in with 6 point level up system. Dealer tells us we don't need JT's. Now we are trying to look for a new home for our new JT's. Supposed to be a great product. We never had ours installed.

  • x 2 on strongarms! Also use cribbing under the legs. The less the legs are extended the less movement.

  • We had the UltraFab Eliminators on our last trailer. They worked well. Are they worth the money? They were to us on that trailer.
