JT Strong Arms or BAL? Any difference? Seems both work. Do locking nuts have to be tighten for travel or are they captured in the loose position? BAL looks to use a tool I already have to tighten bars...

I have JT's and they are loose when traveling and they are only finger tight when down and in use.
