JT Strong Arms or BAL? Any difference? Seems both work. Do locking nuts have to be tighten for travel or are they captured in the loose position? BAL looks to use a tool I already have to tighten bars...

Checkout Steadyfast Stabilizers, three knobs to tighten and your set up. Took about two hours to install. A little more expensive than JT's but they are with it, in my opinion. Also, outstanding customer service and the owner of the company will answer any questions you have.
