Trailer towed awesome through the Sierra Nevada. Much better than my previous 20ft bumper pull toyhauler. Anyone who tells you a bumper pull can be setup to tow as well as a 5er is simply blowing smoke...:)
Even my wife couldn't believe the difference in ride.
My truck has not shown up yet from Flynt so I have nothing to compare yet but maybe next week. I have assumed 2" + of drop as your own test run has shown.
BTW,What hitch are you using? What clearance do you have at the bed rails? I have figured out all the numbers on paper but I am anxious to see them in real life. The stock Chevy truck bed elevation is + or-38" off the ground. The B&W companion set at mid level 17.25 inches should give me 6" clear at the bed rails with the trailer. This will probably net me about 3-4 inches nose high. All based on theoretical numbers of course.
