Stackable Washer/Dryer in New 5th Wheel Vibration Problem

We have a new 5th wheel with a Whirlpool stackable washer and dryer. When the washer goes to the spin cycle, it vibrates so bad, the clothes rack in the closet will fall. We have tried different loads and rearranging clothes in the washer, but it still vibrates. The coach is level and the washer is level.

Has anyone had the same problem? It seems to be the clothes in the drum causing the vibration just as a washer at home would do if the load is unbalanced.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  • There is a lot more flex in an RV, so the issue is much worse. Hopefully the washer is on the floor and not on top. Stop is at the end of the wash cycle, take the clothes out shake them and put back in to finish the cycle
  • We have extra bracing on the top of our stackable that seems to help this. I have also heard of units that the RV builder didn't remove shipping screws that can contribute to this as well.
  • Had the same problem with our Whirlpool. Had to pull washer and there is a block in the bottom that is used for balance. It had came loose from its arm.
  • Might try the rubber anti-vibration blocks at the big box stores made for appliances...worked for ours...also keepsthem from walking.
  • Shipping bolts that have not been removed is a common problem in all washing machines. It causes a very rough ride for the washing machine.
  • Putting a tripod on the pin helped ours. You can still feel it but it's not as bad as it was.
