It wouldn't be to me. Seems to me that most of the issues occur in the first year of use. And there are lots of weasel words in those warranties to get them out of repairs that you think should be covered. If you don't plan on using it more than a couple times a year, and it will sit in storage most of the time, that may be a different story. But if you use it a lot, you'll find most of the issues the first year. And a 2-year factory warranty is even better.
I would do a thorough, I do mean thorough, PDI and have them fix the problems before you pay for anything or pick it up. It's much easier to convince them to fix any issues before they have your money in their hands.
