Steadyfast advice

i put steadyfast on our last RV and it greatly improved stability. Did it make the trailer rock steady? no, but noticeable improvement. Later I installed scissor jacks behind the rear wheels and moved the rear steadyfast bar from the rear jacks to the scissor jacks. After that the trailer was very stable.
As far as whether they'd work with your trailer I expect they would but you should call them and ask. My experience is they are very helpful and will work with you to get their system installed properly with best results.

i put steadyfast on my 2013 sundance 3270res. we're very pleased. big improvement in stability. i added a piece of 2"x4" flat metal to one side of the front frame for extra clearance from landing gear. easy to do.

We installed SteadyFast last year on 33' 5th wheel. Very pleased with amount of movement eliminated. Will take 95% movement out. Always some bounce on your tires. Very pleased with quality and finish of components. Very sturdy four bolt mounting clamps up at frame and sturdy no flex mount down at the foot plate.

Better than JT Strongarm, which have only have one bolt at frame. Though SteadyFast only has one crosspiece in front, it goes from ground on one side, across to frame on the other side. Better than two crosspieces meeting in the middle where there may or may not be a sturdy enough cross member under your front compartment.

As to fitting your 5th wheel, widths are about the same on most units and SteadyFast would accommodate any difference in widths. The only thing you may find is some black pipe for gas service being routed under your I-beam frame. Since SteadyFast only has one front lengthwise strut, you could mount that on side without black pipe or remount black pipe as necessary. Not hard to install. Just takes time.

Installed SteadyFast myself on our old 27'TT. Made an absolute world of difference on it. We've had our Montana for a year and it's not been as shaky as the old TT. Still thinking about putting a SteadyFast system on it though.

added them to our Windjammer. Initially the wife and I felt like we were sleeping on jello with all the wiggling from the boys and our 70 lb dog.

After installing steadyfast we still feel some movement but nowhere near what it was. Super easy to engage as well.

You are correct about the cross member not being strong. The 2 guys that installed our JT storng arm stabilizers said some fifthwheels just have a light metal to attach to and and it needs heavy thick washers to spread the pressure. We were good in this area.

I have the round tube hydraulic level up system and they didn't have a product to fit the round tube landing gear only the square tube electric landing gear. I did some measurements for them and they fabricated new brackets to mount the crossbars. They now have them available for sale, just call and ask. Took a couple of minutes to install; had to hook up to TV so I could rotate the landing gear to have the bolts on the bottom that attach the external tube to the ram would line up for the bottom bracket.
As others have said, they cut down the movement a lot, but not down to 0 movement. I will look at adding another set for the rear stabilizers this winter. Well worth the cost.
