I've never had anything spill in a RV fridge, full or not. Once in a while a tall narrow item like a water bottle will fall over, but that's about it. As a precaution, put good closures on everything. DO double check that the fridge door is latched correctly.
Like others here, I like to start a trip with enough prepared food in the fridge and freezer for several meal. I also leave with a well-stocked pantry of ingredients for simple recipes. Grocery shopping and cooking are not my idea of what to do on vacation.
