So this may be tough to explain but here it goes..... I have a 2015 Mountaineer with the 6 point level up. While parked at home I have it plugged into 50amp, all 6 legs down and slides (5) could be in or out depending on the day.So the noise is like a pop, very quick and not really load and maybe a little while later it will do it again. I don't seem to notice it while camping but only when I'm out working around the 5er. It's almost like a settling noise, thought it was only when the wind was blowing but not the case.I've had it out three times and everything works good..... Maybe it's nothing but still makes me think every time I hear it.

First guess would be something expanding from the heat of the sun (or cooling). Try to notice if it happens on overcast days.

What is it parked on; concrete, gravel, or dirt?

I recently purchased a used Mountaineer and when I first got it I had a problem with my slides. On my first trip of 2 hrs, when I arrived at the campground I noticed that the bedroom slide was out approximately 1/2 inch. When I returned home the same issue was there. I also noticed a loud pop on occasion when the trailer was sitting at home with the slides were closed. To make a long story short after taking the trailer back under the 30 day warranty, the dealer ultimately replaced 2 hydraulic slide actuators (rams) and I no longer have the pop noise and the slides do not creep out when sitting or traveling.

Fork oil is the recommended solution.

I have been putting up with the creaking from my 6-point leveling for over a year. It occurs when there is a temperature change.

According to the order they put out you can purchase a quart of one of the following:

Torco RFF Grade 15, Maxima Fork Oil Grade 15, Cat Hydraulic Oil Additive 1U-9891.

You are suppose to pull your hydrolics in (slides/stands) so that your reservoir is up to the full line, then use a turkey baster to take out a quart, then put the new quart of additive in.

We have experienced this pooping also. Cured by replacing fluid in jacks with synthetic transmission fluid; as recommended by Power Gear technical assistance folks. Simply drain as much fluid as possible and then refill with synthetic fluid. Not a problem if some old fluid stays in lines. Eventually it will mix safely, so said tech guys. All is good now. I would check with specific manufacturer of your jacks.

I had a popping noise every once in a while, but on a motorhome. Auto levelers were sitting on concrete pad. I raised them and then put a Lynx orange square under each leveler. Lowered and leveled..problem solved.

Its in the hydrolics of the 6 point leveling system , Mine has been doing it for the past 2 years as well as many others , lippert is aware of it , and a recommendation of removing a quart of hydrolic oil and replacing it with a quart of another type of oil , my memory escapes me , its been a while. If I come across it I'll post back.
