Yes, saw a Fiver with no switch inside the coach for electric WH operation. Owner didn't even realize the heater had that capability.
I'd use the Breaker to control something I used only occasionally. Say, camping at a site for a week. Wouldn't use it to go On/Off a few times a day. Some breakers are designed to also serve "switch duty" but most are not. They'll wear out prematurely.
Hey, a question - Will the new 520900 element fit an older Six Gallon (SW6DE) heater (2002 vintage), or do I have to use 520789? The '900 is pictured as being long, and length was shown in one ad as 15". The '789 is pictured as shorter, but length not listed.
