Suburban Water Heater AC switch at the water heater

I leave the switch on the water heater itself in the "on" position. I installed a lighted switch inside the 5ver to make it easier to turn off and on. I did not want to use th breaker for that purpose. And when I had the 6 gallon Suburban WH....when I needed an element...just went to HD or Ace and bought one.
