Sunnybrook Fifth Wheel

I have a 2003 Sunnybrook FW and love it, but it's kinda getting dated and my "spousal unit" recently made the comment that maybe we should upgrade. Just wondering if the new Sunnybrooks are rated as highly as my present one since it appears that Winnebago now owns the brand. The fit and finish and extras in my present FW are excellent and it would be nice to know that if I upgrade, I can stick with the same brand.
  • We had a 2001 24CKFS! in 03' we traded it for our 2004 Montana 2955RL! The Dealers were more interested in getting our "Sunny" than selling us the "Monty"! We got a REAL good Price on the Montana because we held-out and they knew they would make the money on the Sunnybrook. We had a lot of room to DEAL due to buying the Sunnybrook well below BB! Due to Health the Sunnybrook owners were desperate to sell! We surely would go back to Sunnybrook were they the same as our 01' and your 03'!
  • I recently had to give up my 1997 Mobile Scout FW, we just wore it out. We traded it in on a Crossroads Cruiser 305 SK. We are happy with the new unit, there are a lot of improvements that have been made since yours was new. Good luck!

Dated? It must be nice to have the resources to think of replacing an `old' 2003 model.

    Dick, I love it.

You've not changed over the years.

I remember when you bought your Sunnybrook. I still have pictures of it in my computer.

I was afraid of that. What brands would you think are comparable nowadays to my present one? I'm guessing none, but maybe there are some out there that aren't priced "out of sight" for me. BTW, may I inquire as to what brand you bought if I'm not intruding.

I ordered a 2013 Excel Winslow 34IKE from Peterson Industries. We have the walk thru bath option.

We looked at many makes and models for over a year before finalizing our decision.

We've had it for 10 months. We love it. Very few problems.

    I'd buy another.

Contact me if you have questions.

Did you participate on the now defunct Sunnybrook Talk Forum?

  • The current Sunnybrooks do not compare to your 2003. Sorry.

I sold my 2003 Sunnybrook last year and bought a 5th wheel by another company.

Sunnybrook made a great trailer in its day.....
