Not necessarily the weight police, more along the lines of knowing what your truck's limitations are. I think most would agree that is somewhat important...
I tow a large fifth wheel with my "15" SRW, so I and NOT in the weight police, but I do know all my weights and that I am within all of them... some just barely, but in....
And back to the OP... I run an airlift system ( set to 30#) on mine to level it out with zero issues... some really like timbres, some like stable loads... knowing where you need to be Is half the battle
