We keep a Big Green Egg - Mini with our 5er. We also have a Weber Q that rarely gets used. Love the Mini. If you Re just cooking for 2, it adds to the experience. If you have larger cooks, the bigger models could be cumbersome. A Small or Medium MIT be okay for one person to handle but a Mini is a perfect one person carry. There is a slight learning curve with the BGE but there is a lot of web support forums. I frequent the greeneggers forum. There are tons of Mini owners with blogs dedicated to cooking all things on the Mini. Veggies, steak, ribs, appetizers, cakes, pizza, soups/stews, seafood... Great accessory!
