One thing to consider is that if you tend to air down your trailer tires (as we do in the sand), any ".5" tire ie: 16.5, 19.5, etc. does not have a "safety bead" and it is easier to peel a tire off the rim in twisting or side-loading maneuvers. Also, when the tire goes flat, it may come completely off the rim. When they stay aired-up, no problem other than a harsher ride!
