Taskmaster ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer

Does anyone have any experience with the Taskmaster ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Load range E trailer tire? Was looking at a set of these for my 2013 Keystone Montana High Country 338DB.

Thanks!
  • We have had good luck with the Sailun's on our Montana, we will be going on 3 yrs. on them in the spring. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!

Good choices if the OP's axles are 6k or less.

  • Another ST tire manufactured in Asia which could mean less than desirable results when towing. If you don't want to go with an LT tire made in the USA, I would go with at least a Maxxis ST tire as they have a good following from many forum members. Carlisle ST tires have been redesigned and are also getting some good feedback. One blowout can cause thousands in damage to a 5er, trying to save a few hundred can cost dearly down the road.

Question is are you looking to save money, or have a quality tire??

I think I would be looking for quality in a brand I already know, the great feeling of saving even $600 on a set of tires, quickly fades when a blowout causes $2,000+ worth of damage to your 5er. :S
  • I am fairly certain that this is an American based company. I do think that they are actually made over seas. The Provider tires, on my FW, are also made by this company. You can read about them on e-trailer and other major trailer tire sources.

I've had mine 4 years now, with excellent results. They have the extra cap, to make them run cooler. They are also rated M, which is 81 mph. I don't normally tow more than 65, but nice to have a little cushion.
