Being a DRW & well within limits it took a pretty good bump to bottom out the springs. Saw thee Timbrens as an easy inexpensive way to improve what was already decent. They work as advertised. No more bottoming out at all now.
At the other end, when unloaded, a dually being a dually the ride empty can be harsh going over RR tracks & such. About 8 years ago I installed another inexpensive but effective add on. Sulastic shocks at the rear spring hanger. It still reminds us that it is a truck but the empty ride is improved.
