Dw and I started our month long vacation in northern Arizona yesterday. Second trip out in new rig. Somewhere on our way up here a cabinet drawer opened spilling a bottle of soy sauce all over the kitchen area. Someone forgot to fully latch refer door and it banged against adjoining cabinet damaging door. The worst part was our 32in Jensen TV died. Working with Camping World now trying to get a new one shipped in from Jensen. Jensen approved it on there end. Hopefully the rest of the trip will be uneventful!!

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Things can only get better from here though, right?!

We get a lot of complains about Jensen on here. Dump it and get a decent TV.

That isn't a terrible start to a vacation by any means. A terrible start is when something happens that prevent the vacation from continuing. Just count it as the bad stuff getting out of the way first so you can really enjoy the rest of the trip.

someone forgot to make sure shower door was closed tight & latched,broke both screws top & bottom that hold it to hinge-when asked if some one checked it she said yes but she couldn't close & forgot to tell me. luckily door glass didn't break.:S

We had the grand kids for four days and I was second closing the refer door the entire time.:)

My DH would also consider this a "terrible start" to a vacation; me, I would just consider it a "little bump in the road."

I agree 100 percent. We had an epic terrible start a couple years back but the truck still pulled and the fiver still rolled and everything got fixed when we got home.

Way back in the day was camping with a good friend in the boondocks. Had been there for a few days when a really bad thunder storm came in fast. We bugged out and got to the paved road. My friend checked his camping trailer and found "someone" had forgot to latch the cover on toilet! All contents out and covered walls pretty much!

when it's just me and the wife that "someone" is always there. When the kids are around they always have "not me" with them. Gets pretty crowded at times. :D

Someone always causes issues around us when enjoying ourselves. Last time all the kids and grand kids were camping next to us. Well it sure did happen that week.:( But loved each minute of it.

that's a legitimate someone though.....my wife doesn't drink 7 up so she was a someone else this time :D Granted....she's normally the someone but this time she had an alibi. :D
