- MNRonExplorerDepending on size. If a full queen, no problem. But if a RV queen (only 74" long) you'll have to find a compatible mattress.
- dspencerExplorerWe put a good quality 4 inch memory foam topper on ours since it's the short queen and we are very happy with the results.
- Sea_scapeExplorerMeasure it first. Some have a short queen, about six inches shorter than a regular queen.
I have a walk around bed in my trailer and was able to extend the base to fit a full queen in
The shops have short Queens available, but I enjoy the extra length. - Ka_RonExplorerWe bought a really good quality foam for ours and it makes it really comfortable
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIWe replaced ours with a Queen Tempur-Pedic when we hit the road FT
Just measure length of your current mattress...some are RV Queen (shorter than real queen). But won't make a difference if you have room for it to hang over a couple of inches (RV QUEEN----60" X 75" Regular QUEEN 60" X 80") - myredracerExplorer IIYou can buy a standard length foam mattress with a memory foam layer on top and just cut it to length with a sharp knife or carving knife. If you do this, you could consider extending the OSB or plywood the mattress sits on a couple of inches or so to make a longer mattress. An inch or two or three longer would make a big difference.
- Fast0neExplorerHad the same issue and our bed was a standard queen. Went and bought a sealy mattress and have been happy.
- mikebreezeExplorerI have an RV queen mattress so I just bought a queen size 4 inch memory topper, cut it with a carving knife to fit on top of my mattress and now I sleep like a baby.

If you are passing through Michigan call the RV Guy’s. They are a couple of retired guys that started ordering RV queen size mattress from Beauty Rest.
The mattress that came with my trailer is the worst. Can it be replaced by an ordinary queen matress sold in stores?

RV Guys - gmw_photosExplorerI bought a memory foam topper from bed, bath beyond, and it made all the difference in the way the bed feels. Love it. Some people though don't like memory foam, I've heard them say it feels "hot".
