Depending on size. If a full queen, no problem. But if a RV queen (only 74" long) you'll have to find a compatible mattress.

We put a good quality 4 inch memory foam topper on ours since it's the short queen and we are very happy with the results.

Measure it first. Some have a short queen, about six inches shorter than a regular queen.

The shops have short Queens available, but I enjoy the extra length.

Just measure length of your current mattress...some are RV Queen (shorter than real queen). But won't make a difference if you have room for it to hang over a couple of inches (RV QUEEN----60" X 75" Regular QUEEN 60" X 80")

You can buy a standard length foam mattress with a memory foam layer on top and just cut it to length with a sharp knife or carving knife. If you do this, you could consider extending the OSB or plywood the mattress sits on a couple of inches or so to make a longer mattress. An inch or two or three longer would make a big difference.

Had the same issue and our bed was a standard queen. Went and bought a sealy mattress and have been happy.

I have an RV queen mattress so I just bought a queen size 4 inch memory topper, cut it with a carving knife to fit on top of my mattress and now I sleep like a baby.

I bought a memory foam topper from bed, bath beyond, and it made all the difference in the way the bed feels. Love it. Some people though don't like memory foam, I've heard them say it feels "hot".
