Been shopping fifth wheels for some time now and I'm wore out! I can't really find what I want at the price I want to pay. I was in mine tonight getting ready to head out tomorrow for the weekend and said to myself..... there's nothing wrong with the one I have! I do like the new features that come on the new ones, many changes since 2006. Think I'll wait till winter to start my search again.

Yep, me too. After seeing what they sell for now and I look at mine that is very well maintained and always stored indoors plus everything works just fine as well as looking practically new and decals looking great. It can do the same thing the fancy ones do and pulls down the road just as well as the new ones. If you got an itch for a change why not pay a local graphic shop to redo the vinyl? Give the ole girl a new hair do. All the other "modern" bells and whistles can be added on very easily.

I think I'll keep mine also. Just about done wet sanding, polishing, sealing and waxing the rear cap.

I like the idea of a outside kitchen, with a small electric refrigerator too! That is the huge new addition added to several RV's since I went shopping last time. Another huge feature on some toyhaulers is a patio. Now it is easy to convert the rear ramp, and on one Cyclone model there is a sidewall that opens into a side patio that is about 9' square.They keep making the slide outs larger and even the across the hall slides are so large they would nearly touch each other when put back in. Yet there are some manufactures who still do not get it. You should be able to travel with the trailer, stop someplace for food, and be able to put it away in the refrigerator without opening the slides. Or stop and make a sandwich. . What about solar systems? With the cost going down to nearly $1 per rated watt, a 100 watt solar system should become standard on all RV's! That would just make up for what the CO and propane monitors consume each day, but still would go a long ways to making camping much more enjoyable.What about the poor quality tires? How can consumers expect to trust a manufacture that installed the lowest quality tires it can find on what the manufacture describes as a "Well Built RV"?Trailer brakes could also use some improvement. Disk brakes are much more powerful, and should be used in the units with 5,000 pound axles or higher. Good luck shopping for another unit! You might just keep thinking that the one you have is working pretty good right now.. . That is what I discovered in a FMCA motorhome show back in 2004. Fred.
