Another factor that I ran into years ago when I let CW quote a Good Sam Extended Warranty is that the fine print says that all covered components must be serviced according to the respective manufacturers' schedules, and receipts must be available to prove that service has been performed.
Do you REALLY take your RV to an authorized dealer to get your furnace serviced every year (or whatever), the water heater serviced, etc., etc.? I don't - I take care of routine maintenance myself, and that's not acceptable per the language of the extended warranty.
As I said, that was the case when CW gave me the quotation years ago. Perhaps that has changed, but I'd certainly make sure.
