In regards to this thread (tie down hooks)yes. Fasteners that completely missed the floor joists and some that were loose etc. But way more than a few with everything else :)

I wouldn't trust the installation of the tie down rings . As stated earlier look underneath your RV and make sure they are installed properly. I found a couple surprises when I checked weather or not they were hitting a floor joist.

my fathers older toy hauler has them mounted to the deck and not the frame, yet in 8 years of strapping down his gold wing and HD nothing has gotten loose or broken.

Heck I have even hooked a winch to the tie down point and winched broken down ATV's onto the trailer.

Not sure where you think that I don't know GVWR of trailer but............. I asked a question regarding the rating of each tie down as some are fastened to frame and others to the plywood. This effects ratings. Curious if anyone had issues with the lower rated system. My tie downs each have a rating of 2k. No issues on the flat deck I tow behind fifthwheel and bikes in tact.

my trailer cargo hooks are frame mounted and rated for 5000lbs, the garage has a big sticker stating it is only rated to hold 3100lbs. I believe keystone rated the hooks as a marketing ploy to show how much they can hold regardless of what the trailer and floor is rated for.

We have 6 D rings in our rig, no idea what they are bolted to but they hold our Rhino just fine.
