I can't tell you how many times in the past 15+ years I've been reading RV fora, that slide hitch owners have said they spent the extra money for a slider, then never used it. More than a few said that the one time they needed it, the slides had rusted up so bad that they couldn't even use it or had to beat hell out of it to get it to move. Just sayin'...
