tire blowout
my made in china tires exploded on last trip, how can i fix damage to wheel well caused by steel belt. cheaply that is, my insurance company says $1035. damage, ist $1000. on me though

My 5er is in the shop for damage repair due to a china bomb tread cap separation. AAA is covering it under comprehensive with a $100 deductible. Couldn't rationalize doing it myself for that cost. Comprehensive claims usually don't influence your premium. The right rear skirt was destroyed and that alone would cost much more that the deductible.
