The rims are good for 110 psi and made for 6 inch tires. The tag on the trailer says the axels are 6000lbs and 11900 gvw, tag also says 65psi. If the rest of the world out here with 16" X 6" trailer wheels use LT215/85-16
LT225/75-16
LT245/75-16
Lt235/85-16 tires on all types of trailers made out here, why can't you do the same.
I have 16"X 6" Dexters on my 11200 lb trailer with 5200 lb axle and use a LT215/85-16 E tires. Ran the first set for over 55k miles and now have around 48k miles on the second set.

All of my other GN flatdeck trailers all have Rockwell American 16"X 6" modular steel trailer wheels and all have a LT235/85-16 E tires on them.

Don't automatically confuse the most expensive tire with the best tire for your application. Many on here do that!

You could be a Carlisle Radial Trail RH guinea pig!

Or overlook the 6" rim issue and install Duravis R250's or maybe the commerical grade Duravis R500 HD in LT245/75R16E's. Both of these are cheaper than RIBs. The R250 is all steel and the R500 is a two ply poly sidewall.

Thanks for all the help last year, but I did not replace my tires. So I was just checking in on any more ideas. Or if any new alternatives are out

the best tire for your application is MICHELIN RIB.That the tire you need.

245 is the widest I would choose to run on any trailer.

BFG Commercial TA is a straight rib tread design.

if you stay with E-rated tires, I agree with the recommendations to consider Maxxis .... if your wish to go with a G-rated tire, take a look at the Goodyear G614 .... the 614 is the only tire I know of that comes with a warranty that so long as they get what is left of the tire back and it is less than 5 year old, should it fail Goodyear will pay 100% of cost of repairing the damage and replace the tire ... we chose to go with the G614
