I did contact Maxxis on this and all they could tell was that the tire was designed for increased pres and temps and as long as I didn't exceed the weight rating of the tires I shouldn't have any issues.
Maxxis tire tech line isn't much help where tires on a trailer are concerned. This is where a good experienced truck tire dealer has more hands on experience of what works best vs what works on paper.
Anyhow I've seen my LT235/85-16 E tires on my equipment trailers running max loads in 100+ degree outside temps go as up in the 90-92 psi range when on a long run on the interstate. Even though the ST has those rounded flexy sidewalls it may run about the same psi gains. I have no idea of my tire temps.
