I use the TireMinder on my enclosed car hauler. I paid $199 for it 3 yrs ago. (4 sensors)
I don't know about the TST system, but the monitor seems 'slow' to me.
if the trailer sits for a day, the sensors go to sleep. (save battery).
but it takes 15 miles before they wake up again.
I had one tire disintegrate at 16 miles from home, and the monitor went off as I was pulling off the road cause I saw it from the rearview mirror.
tire minder and tire tracker are the same stuff with different labels.
only thing I don't like is they want you to unplug the receiver after an 8 hour charge. but I don't always pull the trailer..
I may go buy another one to get 4 more sensors!
I'm not sure which TST system you had but mine, the 507, has been sitting for a month or more and I can turn on my monitor and within 5 minutes while I am hitching and stuff I have tire pressure readings. I do not have to drive or even move the trailer to activate them.
