I researched tires for a year for my 5th wheel. Looked at RV, Transporter and medium duty truck forums. The drivers with high mileage use nearly all indicated they have had best luck with Michelins.
All said they were more expensive but they lasted longer with fewer tire problems. Many said they were getting 20K and more miles than the manufacturer showed the tires would get.
I bought a set of Michelin XPS RIBS Tires three years ago...no issues. They still look new. The sidewalls are stiff which helps to reduce wiggle when setup at an RV Park and one of us walks from one end of the 5th wheel to the other.
