It looks like you need to have it folded up covering the window? Doesn't that interfere with hitching?
You do not use the BakFlip in the extreme position that covers the back window. That position is available when you need to use the entire bed of the pickup (which we would never do while towing.)
The position we use towing I will call the 3/4 fold. the three panels (starting from the rear) are folded onto the forward panel. There are straps to use in this position. The back window is not covered.
Yes, in our long bed crew cab, the folded cover does obscure the actual "pin into the hitch" but I have learned to use a "mark" on the panel itself to make a perfect line up. No problem, I just want to fully answer your question.
