Retractable Tonneau Covers

We are about to put a retractable cover on our 2017 F350. We had our searching narrowed down to a Retrax Pro MX. But then we discovered a Gator Trax MX. Now we are confused because these two covers appear identical, but the Gator is cheaper. Does anyone know for sure if these two units are actually the same unit with just a different name?
  • I have a retrax and like it. I like that I can lock the cover in whatever position so if it might rain I can try to cover up the firewood.

  • I have a Retrax One with the polycarbonate slats. The plastic material is kinda light but still durable. 4wheelonline offered me a nice discount; that's why I bought one. If you are willing to spend more, consider the Retrax Pro.
  • Thanks for your reply. I found out on another forum that ReTrax and GatorTrax are identical other than the name tag.
  • I don't know if they are the same, but I have had my Retrax for over 6 years and love it. I had a Roll N Lock before and the Retrax is much better.
  • How strong are they? Load weight limit for bicycles etc?
