Ok I was just on the Grand Design owners forum and people were saying they had problems with trifold covers when towing cause the were rubbing the underneath of 5th wheel. We just did get our new trifold cover and put it on but haven't hitched with it yet. We have an auto slide hitch and just wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the trifold covers. I have a Tonneau Cover trifold tow 2008 Cameo no problems.

My fold a cover has never caused me a problem. Maybe it is a trifold issue?

No problems here either. Might have something to do with the type of the cover and the size of the truck bed.

Mine comes nowhere near the bottom of the fiver. Maybe Padlin is correct and it affects short beds.

I use a quad fold no problems but note I only have 5" clearance.

I was at max turn. I wanted to see how far I could go in a controlled environment. Heartland advertises 88 degrees on a shortbox, I'd say I was close to 85 degrees with a 6.5' bed. It's a Valley single jaw hitch.

Ok thanks everyone for your responses! Hubby feels better now that others have trifold covers. Never even gave it a thought when ordering it!! Hubby said there is no way we would scrape but when you hear people talk about what happen it gives you something to think about:) Tara
