Yes Sir....Seen that happen before and i will not subject our hauler to that kind of punishment.

Great advice BigDogF250, thanks. I know the material for the cabinets that you are talking about, I will get some of that.

2nd vote for the short local trip. I took a notepad for making lists, actually ran to the local Walmart Saturday afternoon and picked up lots of the things I needed, spent most of that night installing some of it. Then ordered a bunch of stuff from RV places that following week (Walmart usually has a pretty good RV section but some of it is junk and some things can only be found in RV stores). Also bought some stuff at the campground store, who knew you would need 10 different colored trains for the Mexican Train dominoes set?

Enjoy the process and think outside the box, there are many ways to solve the same problem. Don't forget to get a roll of that counter/drawer cushion pad, I used a piece between each pan, in most of the drawers (stops the sliding of things) and even in the medicine cabinet to keep my tooth brush from disappearing into the back corner.

I'd load it up and take it on a short trip over the weekend before going too far. That way you can do a shakedown to make sure everything is good to go. The last thing that you'd want, is to go on big trip right away, and find out that something is not right. Plus by doing that, you get to "learn" all the features of your trailer, and how they work. As far as clubs, I'd be sure to become a Good Sam's member. That's your AAA service for Rvs,...plus you get various discounts. Hope that helps.
