As a follow up maybe the new campers should be given some tips on battery conservation so that the new campers don't feel the need to haul a noisy Craftsman generator up to what must be a remote camp site.We've all enjoyed the sound of generators as we camp. Yes the most efficient way to charge a battery is too run a 7KW generator through a trickle charger for hours. Maybe if the batteries go dead they could charge them using the tow vehicle, but with proper battery use they should be good for a weekend. Rant over Camp On.
