Tow All Dolly

Saw one for the first time a couple of days ago. A 4dr dually with what's call a "tow all" dolly attached to receiver hitch on the truck and a large tow hauler (triple axle) 5th wheel attached to the tow all dolly. Can be used for goose neck or 5th wheel hookup according to their youtube video. They say a SUV can tow a 5th wheel with this thing.
Just trying to see if there is any benefit to it other than an open bed on the truck. Added several feet in length to the rig.
Don't know how to put a link to the youtube video for this dolly. It may have been around awhile but this is the first I have seen or heard about it.
  • Bad idea unless you have the HP, TQ and larger brakes like on a Dually that would actually be able to tow that size 5er.. Looks like accident looking for a place to happen..Even if the Tow All Dolly also has brakes, along with whatever your towing..An SUV or etc... may be taxed beyond it's limits to pull a mountain, or still slow down on a steep down grade...

How much pin weight will that little thing handle? A 40' 5er??

I read a couple comments under the video. My favorite:

"Sweet! Now I can finally haul my 40' fifth wheel with my Chevy Cavalier! I just need a hitch, then a 1-1/4" to 2" adapter and then the tow all and I'll be set! I'm just kidding everyone, obviously I would use a Geo Metro as the tow vehicle. You know, better MPG and all..." Backwoods223

As a person who is licensed to pull double/triples, this concept scares the ---- out of me. One more wiggle point, hooked to a vehicle that is too small to handle the weight, driven by someyears of towing expeerieince.one that is trying to cut corners....just buy the correct truck.

X2. I do not have a CDL; but I have 50 years of towing experience including semis in the Army.
