G7ARYM, On our Demco SS, we covered the safety chains with rubber and thread them through the wheels so I don't have to lay on the ground to attach them.

thank all of you that replied to my post.. I found a good used tow dolly just a little service brings it up to almost new..thing I played too much but I don't want junk there is a lot of that out there

After looking at a few different dollies, used and new. I decided on purchasing the Acme. Looks and feels heavier duty than the Tow Master models. You do get what you pay for. It's probably over kill for my Rav4, but I'll have this one forever, or until I get a 4X4 Wrangler and tow flat.

Best check your owner's manual. I am not sure, but all wheel drive vehicles should not be flat towed or on a dolly.

I think they a have 77”, but the 80” was a special advertise price.

Sounds wide for a Rav4

Has anyone tried Master Tow? I can get an 80” wide with electric brakes for $1149 or drum surge brakes for $1349, plus tax. I’ll be towing a 2002 Toyota RAV4.
