Tow Vehicle Truck Box Tailgate Clearance
I am currently running a Hyjacker 24-USP -16 Ultra Slide Double Pivot Hitch with the 8 inch hitch adjustment.
I have never used the slide extension in the rear position and I am wondering if I will have any clearance issues while backing into a camp site with the hitch hitting the tailgate when it is closed and the hitch is in the rear position. I currently do not have a slotted RV tailgate but use my factory tailgate.
My truck is a 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500HD extended cab with a standard length box.
Any comments or experiences with this setup with hitch in the rear position would be appreciated.
