Towing 5er in Portland snow storm
Portland has experienced a daily snowfall of 8" - 12" of 30 degree heavy stuff. The area is shut down with chains required on all vehicles. I'm watching the news this morning with the reporter stand...

It requires respect for the conditions NOT fear!
If you fear the conditions Don't go, those that Respect the conditions will usually do fine as long as some idiot who is not prepared doesn't block the road they will do fine.
On this return trip from the Oregon Coast we did get stopped on an up hill grade with our old 5er in tow, due to a spin out, with SP on site, no issues getting going again.
