Towing 5er in Portland snow storm
Portland has experienced a daily snowfall of 8" - 12" of 30 degree heavy stuff. The area is shut down with chains required on all vehicles. I'm watching the news this morning with the reporter stand...

Me too.
You might be the most skilled Winter Driver in the world, with super-grip tires and amazing anti-skid brakes.
But the *other* guy is always out there.
I've driven in snow for 44 years.
It's all about managing risk.
All it takes is a little ice, a little wind and I don't care if you're Mario Andretti - you're along for the ride while The Lord drives.
If I absolutely had to be somewhere, then I'd try to figure out how to get there without towing my trailer. If I had to be some place with my trailer, then I'd drive as freakin' defensively as I could.
But my first choice would be to look for ways to NOT drive.
