Towing 5er in Portland snow storm

Portland has experienced a daily snowfall of 8" - 12" of 30 degree heavy stuff. The area is shut down with chains required on all vehicles. I'm watching the news this morning with the reporter standing on the overpass looking at stranded traffic and a dually with a good size fifth wheel passes underneath. Is the driver crazy or a stud? Will rigs like this perform adequately in adverse snow conditions? Personally, I'd like to give the guy a high five.
  • Sign at Seattle Costco... Sorry for inconvenience due to weather we are out of stock of toilet paper and paper towels.

    Folks in Oregon,

Please help our toilet paper truck!!
  • I-5 over the Columbia.
I'll just stay home ...no towing or camping on my list for today. And, no " "high five" for me.
Others can make their own choices and I won't judge them.

  • If he knows what he is doing, is comfortable driving in snow and is properly equipped, I see no problem. BTW 6 inches in my back yard.
