Towing a 13,500 dry weight 5er?
The salesman told me that we could use an F250 and that we did not need a dually to tow this trailer. I would think that we would need an F350 dually?

Have you weighed your trucks rear axle FULLY loaded? How does that compare to the two rear tires max weight capacity combined? With a HEAVY hitch, tool box, gen, 12 gallon fuel tank and ?????? Me thinks you may be overloaded on your rear tires.
