I put the Maxxis 8008 on my 5r last year (the factory poopers, er poppers, came off after one season) and so far we are quite satisifed. Upgraded from load D to load E after making sure the rim was rated for 80lbs. I check them before leaving home and before leaving campsite.
Had two different sets of poppers on previous TT and neither set were worth a darn - fortunately we had no on-the-road issues.
