I bought a 2002 KZ and it off-gassed formaldehyde for about a year. It burned our eye's and we had difficult breathing at times. It cleared up after about a year of venting.
I have since bought a 2011 Keystone and a 2013 KZ with no problems.
The Keystone did have a slight smell at first but soon cleared up. Maybe because of all the popcorn we popped in it :)
The new KZ FW does not off-gas that I can tell.
