A chemically sensitive person should know whether or not an RV is "safe" for them. People react to different things. Whether it be the glues, the fire retardants (mattresses are often sprayed), the plastics or the insulation, or, or, or ... there is so much.
With a second-hand unit, there is the risk that the previous owner used loads of hair spray or perfume, or smoked, or laid new carpet or flooring.
So one needs to know what makes them sick and be aware. And others need to accept their word that something is a health risk, without making fun of them. For me, having viral meningitis more than a dozen times hasn't been a laughing matter ...
