Toy Hauler floor plans

Hello all,
I am new to the Forum and I am in need of some help! I am in the market for a toy hauler. I am trying to collect come Makes and Models to begin my search for the Pre Owned camper that is right for my family. Please provide any ideas that fit the descriptions below.

What I am looking for:

Large cargo space at least 16’ (this is a must)
Fifth wheel
The longer the better
A unit that is at least a few years old. I am looking for something that has already seen the majority of its early life deprecation.
I am looking for a good quality camper
4 seasons is desirable
I would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks in advance!

  • Thanks for all of the replies so far!

Yes an open cargo floor plan is perfectly alright.
  • My bumper pull Weekend Warrior had just under 16' of convertible cargo room, but the last 3' was only 6' wide due to the counter. Weekend Warriors were not that well insulated, but our heater and AC could keep up to any outside temperature we subjected the trailer. I did wrap all the water lines in foam sleeves to prevent freezing while towing in sub freezing temperatures.

Our model was the FB2200 with front bath. You had to go the FS2800 if you wanted the same amount of cargo space and a front sleeper.
  • I have had the sister trailer to this one (dune chaser) for the last 5 1/2 years. Love it and have had 4 other brand haulers. It has been by far the best of the bunch.

  • I've got 16'9" to first cabinet in my WW FSW 3200... but its a bumper pull.

Many many WW 5th's are open floor plan with 16'+ of garage...
Its not uncommon to get a very good price on an older 07-09 WW, and have enough money left over for a frame upgrade if needed/wanted.

I had no problems with my frame/walls/etc... but did the frame upgrade for peace of mind. Many different TH manufactures from that era use the Lippert frames, many have had problems, as did WW on some units.

IMO, Buy accordingly, I'd plan on 2500-$5000 depending on exactly whats needed for the frame upgrade. If you don't need it or want it, all the better. I used Scal RV Doctor for my frame upgrade.

I believe this 2007 WEEKEND WARRIOR SLC 3905 has similar or more garage space than mine (18'?). It seems to be priced low, and has many nice options, like a new set of Michelin Ribs, so probably won't last long if its in good shape like the pics show. Never know, maybe the frames already been done...?

  • Here are 3 to get you going.

    Eclipse ATTITUDE 33G2S
    XLR VIPER 305V16
    Dutchmen Voltage V3818 (18')
  • 16' open? That will be quite limiting. I have a Voltage 3600, but NOT 16' clear! LOL Not many of them around.
  • You want 16' of space, garage or open floorplan? Finding 16' of garage will be a challenge, most older ones didn't come that long. WW made some special ones. But open floor plan you have a greater opportunity to find what you're looking for. A 4 season with all of that, challenge. I'd say look at the Desert Fox units, good quality and true 4 season, but they don't make a 5er that fits your needs. The KZ line up might suit you. In the main toy hauler forum you'll find The Complete List of Toy Haulers, start checking brand by brand to see if they make anything current then see how far back that model goes. Good luck.
