Toy Hauler Ramp Door Caved In

I've been in the garage door business for about 3 decades and you are not the first person who thought they could engineer a better door. What you don't know could negatively impact many peoples lives. My guess is that door was fatally damaged by a previous owner and it finally gave out. I am not at all surprised that the manufacturer told you they had no interest in your issue, you were never their customer. How many ramps have any of us heard of this happening, even after 5+ years of service?
