It will probably be 4000-6000lbs dry. I had a 29 foot toy hauler and it was supposed to be 5000 dry. tongue weight isn't going to be the same I find on toy haulers it seems to be heavier by 10 - 20 percent. This made it really hard when I was shopping because I had an SUV. I would haul as many as 6 dirt bikes or 3 roadbikes in mine sometimes with 90 gallons of water if there wasn't any where I was going. I don't know whether you need a 2500 you might. My friend had a chevy 2500 and complained about power and his rear axel sagged. He had an older chevy though but his toy hauler was half the size of mine. I had a new mercedes suv with a twin turbo v8 and auto leveling suspension. I had no sag tons of power and could stop on a dime. I also used a weight distribution hitch.
