Still looking at all brands. With the Florida heat (or any other state with heat) is anyone using the garage and loft for a sleeping area? Since all of the brands with three A/C's are limited to running two at a time, is anyone having luck in hot conditions cooling both areas to allow kids to sleep there? I guess my point is what good is the loft if you can only cool two sections at a time? Keystone seems to be the only brand using two A/C's. Thanks

When we had our Cyclone, we had 8 people sleep in it one time during the middle of summer at a race. We ran both ACs up front, left the garage door open, and placed two small floor fans in the living room facing toward the garage. The people sleeping in the garage said at times, they got too cold.

With 50amps you could run three AC's at one time.

My XLR 395AMP has 3 AC's. On occasion I will run all 3 to cool down the camper quickly. Usually I only have the main and garage running though. Our son sleeps in the garage and it's usually the coolest place in the camper. We stayed plenty cool this summer when we went to Myrtle Beach and it was 100 outside.

We sleep 6 in our fuzion. With 2 a/c's on it usually cools off nice on the first day after the sun goes down.

I have a Jayco Seismic 3912. Only has 2 AC's, but plenty. The main AC is ducted front to rear. I shut off the vents to this AC in the front bedroom. The front bedroom has its own AC. We've camped in 100 degree weather and cools in the heat of the day just fine. At night, it gets almost too cold. We have the bunks in the garage and the loft bed. Nobody has complained about being too hot, only too cold.

We dont camp in the desert during summer, regardless of how many AC's we have. Cant wait till winter comes!!!

Then we camp :)

We have 2 AC's in our Cyclone. One in the front bedroom and one main. My two kids sleep in the garage and I set the main AC one degree cooler than the bedroom. When both are running they are ducted together, so it pushes a lot of air. The kids never complain. Heat is another story. I use a small electric heater to supplement the main heat.

We have three A/C units in our Grand Design Momentum 385TH and on 50 amps can run all three. They are also ducted together, so that air from each goes all through the trailer. Even on generator or 30 amp service we can keep the garage (and everything else) cool. It works really well.

We use our loft & bunk beds in the garage all the time on our Puma in the summer in Myrtle Beach with two ACs. One can do it at night most of the time. 6 People has been our max. so far.

We were in Myrtle beech while it was hot also, we only have 1 A/C and it worked just fine for my Daughter. I was worried too, but it did just fine after adjusting the cieling vents based on pressure and flow from the two ducts.
