I, for one, would never replace ST tires with more ST tires on a trailer weighing 10,000 lbs. or more. I had 2 blow out after 2 years and less than 8,000 miles. I went to G-rated LT tires.
At 7800lbs on the trailer tires "G" are a waste of money IMHO. Besides they won't fit.
I only said "I" went to G-rated tires. You probably have 6,000 lb. rated axles and could get by fine with E-rated LT tires.
Although I am curious why you said they won't fit. The wheels may not be rated for 110 psi, but fitment shouldn't be an issue. My Sailun tires went on the same wheels that the Carlisle ST235/80-16 tires came off. And E-rated LT tires are the same size as the ST tires you're putting on.
