With 2" between the tires I can't go anything larger in diameter and maintain adequate clearance. Most of the LT tires I've seen are larger in diameter.
I have done research on the tires and can find no brand that doesn't have detractors. At least with Carlisle I can get warranty service about anywhere.
Sadly, you most likely will need some warranty service. Perhaps not immediately, but within 1.5-2 years.
Purchasing a particular brand because they will repair the damage done by their product makes absolutely zero sense. There are tires out there that will fit and give you 5-6 years of trouble free service. If your spacing is too tight, look at the LT245-75-16. What capacity are your Axles? If they are 6,000# or less, a good LT tire will work wonderfully.
